Focused on asphalt paving, concrete, landscape construction and other exterior construction, Forest has provided quality solutions for over 20 years.We are currently looking for a full time (Contract) Operations Administrator to join our growing teamAs an Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for:·       Support with tracking and reviewing field logs and other important data & reports.·       Preparing/creating folders for all new equipment and vehicles as they come in (administration, organizing).·       Order 407 devices for all new vehicles.·       Managing, retrieving and tracking documentation for insurance claims·       Manage GPS devices for company assets (ensure serial numbers are on B2W and assigned to assets, ensure they are working, and reporting properly·       Preparation of regularly scheduled reports.·       Print, analyze and assess fuel reports for all forest vehicles·       Edit reports for grammar, spelling, punctuation and errors, copy, scan and store documents·       Submit timely reports and prepare quotations/proposals as assigned·       Manage phone calls, sorting and distributing communications in a timely manner (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)·       Perform receptionist duties when needed and assist colleagues whenever necessary·       Assisting the fleet manager with various administrative duties.·       Manage Forest’s assets through the use of asset tiger.·       Identifying cost saving opportunities based on utilization, fuel consumption, oil analysis, telematics data and other information.·       Creating, maintaining and reviewing budgets with the Director of Operations.·       Ensuring the licensing, registration and insurance of all vehicles are up-to-date and correct.·       Maintaining equipment files according to National Safety Code (NSC), including Commercial Motor Vehicle Records (CVOR), Commercial Vehicle Inspection Records (CVIR) and repairs.·       Working with members of Operations, Project Management, Mechanics, Service Technicians and Safety to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all Forest Contractors Ltd. construction vehicles and equipment, including heavy duty trucks, heavy duty equipment, winter maintenance equipment and all other Forest Contractors Ltd. assets. ·       Working with field staff on completion and submission of required operational documentation. ·       Other duties assigned by the Director of Operations.Qualified candidates will possess:
  • 1+ years of Office Administration Experience
  • Familiarity with GPS softwares.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.).
  • Experience with construction management softwares.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise various tasks.
