Our client, a non-profit charitable organization, is looking to hire a full-time Operations Manager. Their mission is to provide high-quality, cutting-edge educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs for infants, children, and teens with special needs, and to assist their families by offering support and respite.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join the dynamic team. As an experienced and proactive Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of all logistical and facilities-related functions of the organization. They will play a key role in maintaining a functional and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. This position requires a combination of strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to ensure the smooth functioning of our facilities.

RESPONSIBILITES

1. Facilities Maintenance:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of facilities.

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including but not limited to HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building repairs.

2. Administrative Support:

• Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management of facilities staff and external contractors

• Manage procurement processes for supplies, equipment, and services.

• Assist in organizing events, meetings, and special projects as needed.

3. Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Coordinate training sessions for staff on health and safety protocols as necessary.

4. Budget Management:

• Assist in developing the annual budget for operational expenses and monitor spending throughout the year.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in operational processes.

5. Logistical Management:

• Plan and execute all logistics related to events, programs, construction, and special projects.

• Ensure logistics support is aligned with the Organization’s calendar to ensure operational goals are met in a smooth and efficient manner

6. Transportation Coordination:

• Coordinate transportation services for students and staff, including bus schedules and routes.

• Address any transportation-related issues or concerns in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in operations management, preferably in a human service organization

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
