We're seeking an experienced mainframe professional to lead our migration efforts to cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have:

- 7+ years of experience with mainframe systems (e.g., IBM z/OS, COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2)
- Proven track record in migrating mainframe applications to cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services
- Experience with modernization techniques like re-platforming and refactoring
- Proficiency in both legacy and modern programming languages
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess existing mainframe applications for cloud migration suitability
  2. Design and implement migration strategies
  3. Lead technical teams through the migration process
  4. Ensure data integrity and security during transitions
  5. Optimize applications for cloud performance and cost-efficiency
  6. Provide training and support for team members

Required Skills:
- Mainframe systems (z/OS, COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2)
- Cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
- Migration tools and methodologies
- DevOps practices
- Performance tuning and optimization

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
