You’ll contribute a little bit of everything to the gameplay for the upcoming Rainbow Six Mobile, an ambitious AAA mobile game developed in partnership with teams around the world.

Responsibilities

  1. Build and enhance systems to support the technology and tech consistent with the design of the Rainbow Six brand
  2. Promptly address any issues and bugs to minimize disruptions and maintain a smooth game development workflow
  3. Support the production teams by ensuring the stability and proper functioning of their systems and tools
  4. Ensure seamless integration of these systems with our game engine, editor, or middleware while maximizing their efficiency
  5. Propose new technologies to improve video game production pipelines
  6. Use reverse engineering to get tools and technologies realigned with the game’s direction
  7. Program in a clear and structured manner while respecting performance, maintenance, modularity, extensibility, and compatibility requirements
  8. Monitor performance and memory budgets, adjusting as needed
Qualifications

Who You Are

You are driven by the challenge - you love R&D and integrating the latest technologies. You are eager to learn from your peers and understand the importance of offering and receiving feedback. You believe in team ownership of what you craft and will be working with your colleagues to share ideas and solve complex problems.

You care about the performance, readability and maintainability of both your code and the build tools. Besides the above, we are looking for someone aligned with our studio’s core values who has the following skills and experience:

  1. 5+ years of software programming experience
  2. Strong proficiency in C#
  3. Experience with Unity or other game engines
  4. Experience in tool design and implementation

The following would be a bonus:

  1. Familiarity with Windows Presentation Foundation WPF
  2. Knowledge of networking protocols
  3. Knowledge of version control systems such as Perforce or Git
  4. Game development experience - hobby or professional
  5. Strong understanding of software development processes
  6. Experience with profiling tools
