Training and regular shifts start NOW, but please, only apply if you can commit to being a member of our team past Spring 2024 (March-June). We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of children throughout the Fraser Valley.This is a very part-time position, with most coaches working 6-16 hours per week. Many of our coaches are either full-time employees elsewhere with set schedules or university students looking for some supplemental income and a change of scenery from the daily grind. In essence, Soccer Shots tends to be a great fit for those who can balance part-time employment with other responsibilities or commitments, while understanding that once a season starts, your availability cannot change.
We understand that life happens, and circumstances may change, but we must stress that your schedule cannot be altered once a season has started. Our commitment to the children we serve is priority number one, and we have a firm policy in place to ensure consistency. Of course, there's room to adjust your availability from one season to the next, but changes within a season are not permitted.

While a background in soccer is preferred (but not required), a love for physical activity and a genuine enjoyment of spending time with children are essential. Prior experience working with children is a valuable asset, though it's not a strict requirement.When We Need YouWe hire coaches for three specific regions. Locations you coach at will generally be within thirty minutes of your home address. We need coaches to be able to commit to a minimum of two shifts a week.For the upcoming Spring season, we will primarily be based in : Fraser Valley East (Abbotsford, Chilliwack & Mission): Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays Surrey & North Delta: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays Langley/Maple Ridge: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, SundaysOur program operates on weekday evenings from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Winter, 4:00PM to 7:00 in the Spring, and on weekends from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.While we understand you may not know your exact schedule for the Spring yet, if you are confident can commit to coaching a bare minimum of two shifts on the days listed above, keep reading For training, which will begin immediately, we can generally work with your existing work or school schedule.Who We AreWe are a dynamic soccer program that places a strong emphasis on character development for children aged 2-8 years old.
