Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Full cycle accounting
- Oversee payroll processing
- Cash management
- Bank reconciliations
- Remittances
- Financial statement preparation
- CRA communication and reporting
- Month-end, quarter-end
- Year-end support and liaise with external accountant
- Other ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar, versatile full cycle role
- Proficient with accounting software, particularly Sage50 and MS Office Suite
- Previous experience working with small businesses and/or in industrial environments
- Passion for working in an entrepreneurial environment with the desire to help grow and continually push the company forward
