Job Title: Traffic Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Controller to join our team at AVL Construction Group Inc. As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for directing traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Ensure compliance with traffic control plans and regulations
  • Monitor and control traffic flow to prevent congestion and accidents
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train or equivalent experience
  • Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certification
  • Traffic Control Signage (TWS) Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
Working Conditions:
  • Outdoors
