- Develop and execute methods and procedures in production to establish a standardized workflow rate and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Plant Director to define metrics, monitor performance, and identify areas for enhancement.
- Track metrics post changes implementation.
- Create and execute plans to efficiently use materials, labor, and equipment to meet production goals while ensuring compliance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective production strategies, including necessary risk assessments.
- Establish quality control guidelines in the production process and document as needed.
- Improve productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.
- Create action plans to address efficiency or quality issues, establish and calculate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate accurate reports to document process status and changes.
- Create a basic process failure mode analysis (FMEA) and control plan, implement it across handling, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
- Verify establishment of essential product features, ensuring feasibility and practicality from a Design for Manufacturability (DFM) standpoint.
- Confirm suppliers' understanding of critical product attributes and commitment to meeting specifications.
- Adhere to safety procedures, use personal protective equipment, and follow safe work practices.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- Post-secondary diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven solid working experience in a process manufacturing engineering environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles, design guides, and standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in coaching, training, and leading team members.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven project management skills, showcasing organizational prowess and attention to detail.
