Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager, NC Programming, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office.

The successful candidate will join the Production Engineering team where they will provide engineering support for manufacturing build processes. (Composite Layup and/or Assembly).

Position Responsibilities:
• Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
• Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
• Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues.
• Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.
• Provides producibility input to design manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
• Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
• Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in a relevant field of Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace) upon hire
• Be eligible to be registered as an Engineer in Training (E.I.T) with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM)
• Must have 2+ years of experience in a related engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Must be legally able to work in Canada
• Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
• Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
• Production Planning experience is considered an asset.
• Composite/Aerospace manufacturing knowledge is considered an asset.
• NC Programming knowledge and experience is considered an asset.

Typical Education and Experience:
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of Engineering and be registered or eligible to be registered with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM).
• 3 years’ experience in a related engineering or manufacturing environment.
