Technical Sales Specialist


Job Description

Micro-Informa is currently looking for an experienced technical sales associate. We are a B2B IT company that provides sales, service, and support. The technical sales associate must have a familiarity with physical security systems involving security cameras. It will be an asset to have a grasp on access control and alarms system deployment.

 

To ensure success as a technical sales associate, a willingness to take technical certification, if necessary, is a must You should be able to identify and resolve issues pertaining to physical security. Moreover, an excellent technical sales associate must be able to travel to our client’s location for a site walk and create a floor plan to meet their needs. Having previous experience supporting clients and technicians with remote support both for user experience on a cloud platform and assisting an integration, is an asset in this role.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve client’s hardware and software problems pertaining to security.
  • Travel to client’s location for a site walk (mainly greater Montréal area)
  • Maintain a good understanding of physical security cameras/access controls/alarms to answer client questions and assist onsite technicians with integrations
  • Run best practice calls to familiarize the clients with their cloud platform.
  • Floor Plan creation & Build of Materials
  • Attending product training courses and seminars
  • Ability to break down technical terminology to nontechnical clients

Qualifications Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology preferred
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Strong knowledge in security camera systems or relevant experience
  • Ability to travel and drive to client locations (vehicle owner)
  • Able to add camera/access/alarm system mapping to floor plans
  • Ability to problem solve

 

 

Salary Renumeration

The salary structure is based on fixed salary plus commission. Starting package from 65K to be determined based on experience and knowledge.
