Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounting operations across all company divisions and assist with preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Perform day-to-day processing of accounts receivable/payable
  • Assist with month end and year end preparation
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Review all balance sheet reconciliations, vendor reconciliations and their aging on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Preparation of monthly Government Remittances
  • Manage intercompany transactions and different currencies
  • Project accounting such as costing and allocation, work with Project Managers and Engineers
  • Oversee payroll
  • Other general duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
  • University or college degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA certification is a huge asset
  • 5 years of increasing responsibility in a supervisor role
  • Some knowledge of GAAP would be an asset
  • Proficient in financial accounting software (QuickBooks) as well as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Motivated self-starter who works as a supportive team player
  • Proven track record of relationship building with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical, organization, planning and execution skills
