Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of electrical projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to specifications, and customer satisfaction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful execution and delivery of electrical projects from inception to completion. You will have 2+ years in a Project Management position, and 5+ years in the electrical field.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage all assigned projects from start to finish including start-up, building permits, construction management process and change management.
Lead project kick off and close out meetings.
Ensure all contractual issues are resolved and dealt with in a timely manner.
Manage and coordinate sub trades as required.
Consistently update key stakeholders on the project timelines, profitability, burn down hours, and schedule changes.
Plan all project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and micro-deliverables using the appropriate software tools and/or PM methods.
Track all project costs to ensure completion within budget; procure extra budget funding where necessary.
Identify and address potential resource gaps, ensuring the team has the necessary tools and support for success.
Address potential risks and challenges associated with projects and implement proactive strategies to mitigate them.
Address client concerns promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
Assist the Field Operations Manager or Site Superintendent in conducting regular inspections and assessments to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 309A or 442A required.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Proven experience of 2+ years in electrical project management.
Experience as a foreperson or site supervisor a strong asset.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Spectrum).
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
