Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Strategic Consultant to lead a strategic roadmap exercise for implementing the BTP extension suite. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to engage with C-level executives while possessing deep technical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, presenting findings and recommendations, and building a comprehensive roadmap for SAP BTP adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the strategic goals of the organization.
- Develop and present a comprehensive roadmap for the adoption of the SAP BTP extension suite.
- Engage with C-level executives and other key stakeholders to communicate strategic insights and technical recommendations.
- Provide thought leadership and hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing SAP BTP solutions.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of SAP BTP, including its capabilities and services, to guide the strategic planning process.
- Work on-site to facilitate workshops, gather insights, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP BTP and related technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 4+ years with SAP BTP creating roadmaps including its capabilities and services.
- Proficiency in ABAP for RAP and either Node.js or Java for CAP.
- Experience with DevOps and/or Agile environments.
- Expertise in integrating RESTful APIs, OData Services, and managing HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
- Willingness to travel as needed for on-site engagements in Calgary
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, SAP U5, and/or Fiori Elements.
- Knowledge of different runtime environments: Kyma, Cloud Foundry, and ABAP.
- Familiarity with app routers and security using XSUAA.
- Expertise in SAP BTP administration.
- Previous experience working on strategic planning or road mapping projects in large organizations.
