JOB OVERVIEW

At T., we have a deep passion for beautiful design, styling and fashion, and unparalleled customer service. We are looking for sales associates to join our team at the T. Boutique Pop-Up at The Well, our first concept store shipping experience in Toronto, Canada. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and ability to collaborate. As a T. sales associate, you will be expected to meet and exceed both individual and store sales goals while upholding the values and elevated image of the T. Boutique brand. When working with high level clients and luxury merchandise it is necessary that you will provide top quality client service and develop lasting relationships with both existing and new clientele.

POSITION TYPE

Hourly. 

RATE

$18-22/hour based on experience.

Opportunity for performance bonus. 

AVAILABILITY 

24-30 hours/week, available to work weekdays and weekends

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

1-2 years of luxury retail sales or hospitality experience required. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

included but are not limited to: 

SALES 

  • Both meet and exceed sales goals and KPI’s as a team with a positive attitude. 
  • Must have a strong team oriented mindset at all times on the sales floor. 
  • Upselling and cross-department selling expected. 
  • Use elevated product knowledge when interacting with all clientele. 
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, store policies and security practices. 
  • Expected to sell in a genuine, friendly, non-aggressive manner.
  • Provides support to other team members as needed.

CLIENT SERVICES 

  • Deliver best in class client services at all times.
  • Maintain an awareness of fashion trends, product information, and outfitting.
  • Ensure a welcoming client environment, in-person, over the phone, and via email. 
  • Problem solve with the team to ensure each client issue/special request is properly handled to benefit both the client and business. 
  • Suggest and recommend products based on clients needs and style. 
  • Engage clients in friendly and polite conversation. 
  • Follow through with top clients to keep them up to date on new arrivals and events.

RETAIL OPERATIONS 

  • Manage POS system. 
  • Open and close the store adhering to strict security practices. 
  • Complete various daily duties and tasks as they arise. 
  • Responsible for packing and wrapping customers in-store and online orders.
  • Keeping busy at all times on the sales floor. A proactive attitude is a must. 
  • After selling, ensure to replace merchandise. 
  • Maintain fitting rooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Keep records including store credits, special orders, hold tickets, and approvals.

FLOOR VISUAL STANDARDS

  • Follow T.’s visual standards and procedures to maintain proper merchandising
  • Initiate housekeeping on down time.
  • At the start and end of a shift ensure the floor is set and ready for clients and events. 
  • Upkeep the selling floor; hanging up items, folding, cleaning fitting rooms etc. 
  • Work on floor moves and re-sets with the team monthly/seasonally. 

INVENTORY SUPPORT 

  • Assist in keeping the stock room organized. 
  • Steam, unpack, and prepare products for the sales floor. 
  • Product pulls are to be put back in an orderly manner. 
  • Notify the owner if inventory is low in popular styles/sizes. 



REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years of Retail Sales and Client Service experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment
  • A passion for people and fashion, great styling ability. 
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic about the T. brand. 
  • A strong work ethic, willingness to go above and beyond. 
  • Active listener and self-starter. 
  • Strong clienteling background. 
  • Proven sales history and experience working with a close knit team.
  • Flexibility and positive reaction to change - must have an open mind.
  • A sense of T. and our company culture.
  • Read, count, and write accurately to complete all business and client related communication. Attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to adjust priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Can stand for extended periods, move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures, when needed.
  • Organization and merchandise skills are key - must be visually creative.
