En tant qu'ingénieure backend I chez Mistplay, tu joueras un rôle critique dans la définition de l'architecture technique afin de pouvoir soutenir la croissance continue de l'entreprise. Tu travailleras avec une équipe diversifiée et talentueuse d'ingénieures en logiciel, de cheffes de produit et de conceptrices pour comprendre et mettre en œuvre des initiatives axées sur le produit et l'ingénierie.
As a Staff Backend Engineer I at Mistplay, you will play a critical role in defining the technical architecture to be able to support the continued growth of the business. You will be working with a diverse and talented team of software engineers, product managers and designers to understand and implement product and engineering driven initiatives.

- Déterminer et développer des initiatives de refonte pragmatiques et réalisables. S'assurer que les membres de l'équipe d'ingénierie dorsale sont sur la même voie
- Identifier les risques et les dépendances possibles dans nos projets et les atténuer
- Décomposer les épopées techniques complexes en tâches d'ingénierie exécutables.
- ravailler avec notre équipe DevOps pour créer un pipeline CI/CD efficace afin de s'assurer que nous pouvons pousser le code vers la production de manière fiable et confiante
- Diriger des revues de code, en s'assurant que nous développons notre base de code d'une manière performante, évolutive et maintenable
- Organiser fréquemment des sessions de transfert de connaissances, des sessions Lunch & Learn avec les membres de l'équipe d'ingénierie afin d'établir les meilleures pratiques et de favoriser une culture d'ingénierie saine
- Baccalauréat en informatique, en génie logiciel ou équivalent
- Plus de 10 ans d'expérience au sein d'une organisation de produits axée sur l'ingénierie, dont au moins 2 ans à la tête d'initiatives techniques complexes
- Solide connaissance et expérience pratique de JavaScript, TypeScript et NodeJS
- Solide connaissance de l'exécution d'API de niveau production dans un environnement infonuagique natif (AWS)
- Solides connaissances en DynamoDBExcellentes compétences en communication orale et écriteCapacité à mener des discussions techniques et à les maintenir sur la bonne voie
- Expérience et connaissance au niveau de l'infrastructure logicielle : ExpressJs, NestJS (un atout)
- Expérience avec Python (un atout)
- Expérience avec Docker, Kubernetes et les technologies de conteneurs connexes (un atout)
- Connaissance spécifique de l'exécution d'API sur ECR/EKS (un atout)
- Expérience Android ou des applications Web progressives (un atout)
- Act as the technical subject matter expert to ensure technical capabilities align with our Product team to ensure technical initiatives are well align with our Product roadmap
- Determining and developing pragmatic and achievable refactoring initiatives. Ensure that our BE engineering members are on the same way
- Identifying possible risks and dependencies in our projects and mitigating them
- Breaking down complex technical epics into executable engineering tasks
- Working with our DevOps team to create an efficient CI/CD pipeline to ensure we can push code to production reliably, confidently
- Leading code reviews, ensuring that we are growing our codebase in a performant, scalable, maintainable way
- Run frequent knowledge transfer, lunch & learn sessions with our engineering members to set best practices, and foster a healthy engineering culture
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years experience working in an engineering driven product organization, at least 2 of which leading complex technical initiatives
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and NodeJS
- Strong knowledge running production grade APIs in a cloud native environment (AWS)
- Strong knowledge in DynamoDB
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions, and keep them on track/point
- Experience and knowledge at the framework level: ExpressJs, NestJS (an asset)
- Experience with Python (an asset)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and related container technologies (an asset)
- Specifically knowledge of running APIs on ECR/EKS (an asset)
- Android or Progressive WebApp experience (an assert)
