Position Title:Application Support Analyst - Specialist
Line of Business:RBSS- Name to be changed down the line.
What does the LOB do?:We are remote banking services // we support backend for everything that is done in the bank. All online banking is supported. Shared services for all transactions supported by RBSS.
Duration:6 Months
Remote/Hybrid:Hybrid // Tuesdays every week, 2nd Friday of every month
Office Location: 81 Bay 21st Floor
Responsibilities:
You will be joining the Application Operations – Remote Banking & Shared Services (AO RBSS) team within Technology Operations.As a Production Application Support Specialist, you will partner with professionals to ensure high-quality systems delivery and stability of RBSS applications, including ECIF (Enterprise Customer Information Facility), Retail Master Portal, Fraud Monitoring- PRM Debit/Proactive Risk Management, EPC- Enterprise Product Catalog, Payment Hub - Retail (Webtango). You will support Technology Operation’s DevOps initiatives and streamline deployment activities through automation.
• Consult on and research all aspects of effective and efficient application or technical service delivery.
• Coordinate testing and validation with business users.
• Development of modules, support for conversion of data, job scheduling, unit/integration testing, business process documentation, development of training materials, and delivery of end user training.
• Gather requirements, design, configure, code, test and resolve issues in a development and production support environment.
• Identify and resolve high to critical complex production problems for support of applications.
• Monitor and analyze services to identify opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions that may cross multiple teams, functions and processes.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications for the development of custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Translate business requirements into configurations and interface specifications.
• Work with various technical teams to develop and manage the execution of implementation plans for high to critical complex new application and maintenance updates.
Must Have Requirement:
5-10+ years experience
• Strong knowledge and experience – UNIX/Linux/Solaris/Windows
• Strong knowledge and experience of DevOps Methodology & Tools
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of Solace & Splunk
• knowledge of OSI Model Layer 7
• Service Now & Incident management experience
• Autosys/Tidal Software scheduling knowledge
• Feedhub & Axway // managed File Transfer System experience
• Programming skills - Shell Scripting, Perl, Java, Python
