Your Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Health & Safety service visits, offering documentation, advice, and support.
  2. Utilize in-depth knowledge and experience to build strong client relationships.
  3. Ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective consultancy services.

Key Duties include:

  • Thorough understanding of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Proactive client engagement to address needs and provide solutions.
  • Conducting client visits for installation and support purposes.
  • Delivering accurate advice and assistance professionally and efficiently.
  • Interfacing with government bodies and third parties on behalf of clients.
  • Producing detailed internal reports post-client visits.
  • Reviewing and analyzing client policies for tailored recommendations.
  • Guiding clients on effective usage of their health and safety management systems.
  • Meeting internal performance metrics and targets.

Key Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • CRSP designation or in-progress certification.
  • Strong communication skills and a knack for building relationships.
  • Confidence in providing practical H&S solutions to clients.
  • Proven ability to deliver consultancy services with commercial acumen.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexible, adaptive, and adept at responding to evolving circumstances.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying hazards and conducting investigations.
  • Process-driven and proactive in using initiative.
  • Excel in fast-paced environments and manage workload efficiently.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree, diploma, or certificate from an accredited education or health and safety program.
  • In-depth understanding of the ON Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant health and safety work experience.
  • CRSP certification or actively pursuing it.
