Join us as a passionately creative UX/UI Designer.

Topsite is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer who is looking for a fresh opportunity with a quickly growing company. You will focus on improving user experience by leveraging your skills to create things intuitively. You’ll develop relationships with accounts across many different industries, crafting outstanding designs for websites, brands, social media, and other digital marketing assets.

Position: UX/UI Designer

Details: Full-time; Hybrid;32 hours/week(9am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 9am-1pm Fri)

What You’ll Be Doing

Collaborate with a team of marketing strategists to solve client and user issues. Build empathy for user needs by participating in discovery activities, including: user research, competitive analysis, journey maps, etc. You can expect to take ownership of crafting UX strategy for our clients and advocating for UX best practices.

In this position, you will be designing high quality wireframes, mockups, and designs that balance aesthetics and usability. You’ll be in charge of researching and implementing design trends and tools to enhance appearance, interactivity, and other UI elements. Your main goal is to seamlessly integrate UX and UI for our client projects (from branding, to websites, to socials, and more) with the help of our content, development, and project management departments.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help translate client goals into creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated portfolio, showcasing your passion for creativity and your end-to-end design process.
  • Ability to apply user insights, data, and hypotheses to inform strategic design decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortably able to voice your opinions but also embrace flexibility as projects evolve.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Education in arts/design/marketing, or in another related field.
  • Specific training in UX/UI.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in web development and/or marketing.
  • Experience conducting client work, whether freelance or with an agency.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
