Intermediate Structural Engineer

Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Structural Engineer. Reporting to the Department Manager, Civil, Structural & Architectural, this position is located in our Saskatoon, SK office. Wood's Mining & Minerals business performs consulting and EPCM services for many of the world's leading mining companies and is executing world-class projects on five continents.
Qualifications:- Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience working on mining and/or heavy industrial projects is an asset
- Registered or have the ability to register as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in the province of Saskatchewan
- Broad scope knowledge of structural designs and an understanding of industry codes, standards, and construction methods
- Material design experience, which may include experience in the use of structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and/or wood
- Previous experience using SAP2000 is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented and a creative thinker
- Demonstrates cooperation and decision-making abilities
- Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
