Exciting Opportunity for an Intermediate Structural Engineer

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. As a key member of our Civil, Structural & Architectural department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs and solutions for our mining and heavy industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structural designs for mining and heavy industrial projects, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support for project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and safety standards are met.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in structural design and construction methods.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in structural design and construction, preferably in mining and heavy industrial projects.
  • Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in the province of Saskatchewan.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design principles, industry codes, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
