Exciting Opportunity for Intermediate Structural Engineers

Wood is seeking a skilled Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. As a key member of our Civil, Structural & Architectural department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs and solutions for our mining and heavy industrial projects.

With a strong background in civil engineering and a minimum of 5-8 years of experience, you will be able to apply your knowledge of structural designs, industry codes, and construction methods to drive project success. Your expertise in material design, including structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood, will be invaluable in this role.

We are looking for a team-oriented and creative thinker who can demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. If you have a passion for structural engineering and a desire to work on challenging projects, we encourage you to apply.

Key Qualifications:
  1. Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering
  2. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in mining and/or heavy industrial projects
  3. Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Saskatchewan
  4. Broad scope knowledge of structural designs and industry codes
  5. Material design experience, including structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood
  6. Previous experience with SAP2000 is an asset
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  8. Team-oriented and creative thinker
  9. Demonstrates cooperation and decision-making abilities
  10. Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood
