One of TEEMA's clients is looking for a Financial Analyst for the supply chain who will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports and metrics on the financial performance of Supply Chain Management (SCM) supporting the construction of new vessels under the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS). Reporting to the Senior Analyst, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for data mining, modeling and processing as well as producing recurring and ad-hoc reports for multiple areas of business.

Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Understand the multiple sources of data for financial reporting.
  • Data mapping to support reporting requirements.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Maintain and update Power BI dashboards that report on SCM's financial performance.

Education and Experience:

  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field or experience equivalent to this level of education.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in an analyst role.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience working with Power BI and SharePoint online.

Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies:

  • Above-average excel skills is a must.
  • Ability to produce and maintain Power BI dashboards.
  • Proficiency in DAX, SQL, VBA.
  • Must be comfortable managing large data sets.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts and terminology.
  • Strong customer service and diplomacy skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity and integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize work and to problem solve in an inclusive manner with internal colleagues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment but capable of working independently to meet strict deadlines.
