Agilus is recruiting for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler III in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.

A typical day:
  1. Lead schedule review meetings to ensure prioritization, optimization of resources, and minimizing downtime through bundling of work.
  2. Optimize resource utilization through resource leveling and grouping work by location, ensuring all materials required to carry out work order activities are available before scheduling work.
  3. The incumbent will work closely with the Montney Maintenance Electrical/Instrumentation and Mechanical Technicians as well as maintenance coordinators.
  4. Coordinate schedule development with Planners, Maintenance, Operations, and others as required.
  5. Utilize the SAP PM Module and Prometheus Scheduler to create weekly 1+3 Week plan and 7-day locked schedule.
  6. Lead the Life Saving Rule verification and safety callout discussions in the weekly 7-day locked schedule meeting.
  7. Steward continuous focus on cost and value optimization in alignment with the Production Operations strategies.
  8. Identify gaps in SAP Master Data compliance as per the M&R Master Data Standards and take required action to address issues.
  9. Work with Supply Chain personnel for material and vendor (service) requirements.
  10. Identify, prioritize, implement, and support continuous improvement opportunities related to SAP and data analysis.
Successful candidates will have:
  1. 5+ years Oil &/or Gas experience.
  2. 3+ years Maintenance scheduling experience.
  3. This position reports to the Planning and Scheduling Supervisor.
  4. Experience in maintenance scheduling processes.
  5. Maintenance Planning an asset; experience with SAP PM & MM modules.
  6. Experience using Prometheus Scheduler is an asset.
  7. Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  8. Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
  9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  10. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Total rewards:
  1. 10 Months of contract position
  2. 5 days on / 2 days off
  3. Based at the Calgary office location with some travel to the field (15%).
