About the role

As a Cloud Engineer, you will design and develop solutions on the Google Cloud Platform and in Microsoft Azure employing cutting edge technologies to build scalable and robust data solutions. Your role will be key in shaping our data practices, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility to facilitate our web behavioral action and analytics roadmap. You’ll join an easy-going Nordic team of developers who make this happen and have fun while doing it.

You'll have a high degree of freedom together with your squad members in developing our web behavioral actioning and analytics data foundation to support customer communications and to source, transform and distribute data from Google Analytics 4 to Google Cloud and BigQuery and Databricks to support various use cases within web personalization, communication and marketing to customers needing insurance.

You take pride in choosing the most appropriate services given the task and ensuring cost efficient solutions in GCP and Azure.

About the team

We’re a diverse, Nordic team of highly motivated developers who are passionate about serving customers with timely, personalized communications to help them live a worry-free life and insure what is most dear to them. We work closely with business stakeholders like web development teams, web analysts and marketeers to make this happen.

We promote continuous tech nurturing, certifications and learning including hackathons both within our team and together with our partners at Google, Microsoft and Salesforce. We love experimentation and constantly follow new technology to create better solutions.

Who are you?

You’re passionate about data engineering and data in Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, have experience from a wide range of data technologies and storage including structured and unstructured data, streaming and real-time. You are experienced in ETL and managing mission critical data loadings, love data modelling and optimizing data efficiency and performance continuously.

We believe you have experience in any of the following two stacks:

  • Google Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Run and Cloud Functions for serverless application deployments, server-side tracking with Google Tag Manager.
  • Azure Functions, Databricks, Data Factory and Storage.

It’s a big bonus if you have experience working with Web development, Web personalization, Rest API, Google Analytics 4, Data privacy and security.

You also have:
  • A bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Software engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent English language and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Previous experience with application and software development.
