As the Channel Account Manager - Distribution, you will take charge implementing distribution channel strategies that harmonize with our business goals. Your primary responsibilities will include cultivating existing partnerships, delivering necessary support, resources, and training to bolster sales performance, and demonstrating resourcefulness by tackling complex scenarios independently or collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement distribution channel strategies that seamlessly align with Canada's growth objectives.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, resellers, and strategic distributors to amplify our market presence.
  • Cultivate and uphold robust relationships with current channel partners, empowering them with essential support, resources, and training to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales (VAR and DMR sales teams), and product teams to conceptualize effective channel marketing initiatives, promotions, and incentives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to proactively identify market opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide insightful forecasts, track performance metrics, and report on key indicators such as sales targets, market share, and channel partner effectiveness.
  • Furnish timely and accurate feedback to internal teams, offering valuable insights on market conditions, customer preferences, and product requisites.
  • Stay current with industry advancements, product insights, and technological progress to eloquently convey our value proposition to both partners and customers.
  • Occasional travel to engage with channel partners and participate in pertinent industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, with an MBA being a valuable asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in channel management, distribution, or sales within the technology or networking sector.
  • Demonstrated success in nurturing and expanding channel partner relationships.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, communication, and impactful presentation skills.
  • Aptitude for interpreting market data to derive actionable insights driving strategic decisions.
  • Self-driven, results-focused mindset adaptable to both independent and team-oriented work environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, along with other relevant business tools.
