Challenge yourself in a rewarding environment by joining a progressive and empowering agency.At the forefront of service delivery to individuals, families and communities, TCS is seeking a skilled, experienced and self-directed manager to assist in the development of a staffed home and/or community-based programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.Duties include:* Leading a team of staff members working in community, staffed home and/or community-based programming;* Developing community activities and opportunities to enhance the inclusion and acceptance of individuals with developmental disabilities; and,* Participating in a person-centered planning process for individuals; and* Managing a staffed home.To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate extensive experience as a Community Service Worker in a staffed home and/or community setting. Supervisory experience, mediation and advocacy skills are an asset. You must have a sincere commitment to providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.As the successful candidate, you will be an excellent interpersonal communicator and able to maintain a flexible schedule as necessary. You will also be a team player that is able to build relationships with individuals, families, staff members, employers and government ministries and organizations.This is a salaried management position, with an annual starting salary of $68,952, based on education, credentials, and experience. The compensation package includes company-paid benefits, and a defined benefit pension plan through the Municipal Pension Plan.This is a Home Share position based in Lower Mainland.
