Established St. Albert chiropractic clinic is looking for a dedicated office receptionist able to manage additional duties as an administrative support. Ideal applicants will have 3+ years related experience in a physiotherapy or chiropractic office. Competitive wage starting point based on experience.
Qualifications:
- Professional conduct and appearance
- Prioritizing, self-motivation, working independently
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Graduate of a medical assistant program
- Must have working experience with the health records program and especially "Jane"
Position Overview:
- Provide welcoming first point of contact to patients seeking chiropractic/massage services
- Higher than average telephone etiquette
- Book appointments and maintain practitioners' schedules
- Working knowledge of the program "JANE"
- Billing patients and taking payments efficiently
- Familiar with direct billing to EHC insurance companies
- Knowledge of WCB and MVA claims
- Experience in accounts receivable and reconciliation procedures
- Maintain orderly reception and front desk area
- Some daily/weekly clinic cleaning duties
Clinic Hours:
- Monday 10:00-7:00 pm
- Tuesday-Thursday 9:00 - 6:00 pm
- Friday 9:00 - 4:30 pm
