Qualifications:

  • Professional conduct and appearance
  • Prioritizing, self-motivation, working independently
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Graduate of a medical assistant program
  • Must have working experience with the health records program and especially "Jane"

Position Overview:

  • Provide welcoming first point of contact to patients seeking chiropractic/massage services
  • Higher than average telephone etiquette
  • Book appointments and maintain practitioners' schedules
  • Working knowledge of the program "JANE"
  • Billing patients and taking payments efficiently
  • Familiar with direct billing to EHC insurance companies
  • Knowledge of WCB and MVA claims
  • Experience in accounts receivable and reconciliation procedures
  • Maintain orderly reception and front desk area
  • Some daily/weekly clinic cleaning duties

Clinic Hours:

  • Monday 10:00-7:00 pm
  • Tuesday-Thursday 9:00 - 6:00 pm
  • Friday 9:00 - 4:30 pm
