Trench Canada is looking for dedicated and dynamic personnel to work in our Final Assembly department on a local basis. This in-person role based in Pickering provides you with the opportunity to hone your existing skills and develop new ones in a fast-paced collaborative work environment. You'll help the team meet expected throughput targets in a safety-first atmosphere.

Your Tasks:
  • Work collaboratively as well as independently in a variety of tasks within the CVT Detailing department.
  • Take part in the setup, closing, detailing, and final release of a wide range of high voltage (CVT) products.
  • Work with the Supervisors as well as the lead hand to ensure a smooth process flow, and that all safety, and quality requirements are being met.
  • Assist with the implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools of all varieties.
  • Must be able to perform material handling tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to read and follow schematics, factory work orders and product drawings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must have the ability to converse, read and write fluently in English to follow verbal instructions and complete written documentation related to the position and the workplace including required paperwork.
