Furniture Assembler

**Furniture Assembly Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Assembly of furniture consoles, cabinetry and small parts.
- Offloading of raw materials (wood and metal) from trucks.
- Wrapping of finished furniture and cabinetry, packing small parts, and loading of trucks.
- Assist with the organization of parts inventory and annual inventory counts.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment and follow all safety procedures.
**Service Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Handle all service, warranty and parts requests in a timely and detailed manner.
- Create estimates for service work and spare parts, and communicate quotations with clients, installers and staff.
- Complete small parts customer orders, including the shipping and logistics.
- Coordinate with installers, technicians and clients to ensure timely completion of service and warranty work.
- Support onsite repair in situations that are local.
- Assist with creating troubleshooting, service documentation and installation packages to support installers and clients as needed.
**Skills**:
- 3-5 years experience in manufacturing assembly industry, preferably in furniture assembly and/or metal fabrication.
- Technically inclined, organized, eager to learn and motivated.
- Has good writing skills and is well spoken (must speak clear and fluent English).
- Able to speak confidently and patiently with clients, installers and service technicians, to help them to troubleshoot concerns for service related issues as required.
- Works well with others, is a team player who is dedicated and dependable.
- Has a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
- Able to pass security clearances, and carries a valid G drivers license and passport.
- Willing to be trained to operate a fork lift and be certified in first aid.
- Able to accommodate minor travel as required.

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
