As a Computer Support Specialist, you'll engage and consult with all stakeholders, ensuring that technology and services used by Genoa are optimized throughout their lifecycle. Join us and become a key enabler of Genoa’s business success

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conduct workstation setups, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Provide comprehensive maintenance and troubleshooting services for workstations.
  • Install and configure cutting-edge software and hardware to enhance end-user experiences.
  • Offer technical assistance and tailored training sessions to empower end-users.
  • Swiftly resolve software and hardware incidents, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  • Execute timely firmware updates across all devices to ensure security and efficiency.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and passwords with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Research and present innovative hardware and software solutions to meet evolving needs.
  • Coordinate seamless procurement processes with trusted suppliers and service providers to streamline operations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN YOUR TOOLKIT

  • Post-secondary education in computer science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in computer systems support, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems, and ability to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills and a focus on enhancing satisfaction and productivity.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and versatility to contribute effectively to team success in this dynamic role.
  • Experience in Microsoft products, support, deployment, and administration.
