The role: Business Development Account Executive

Location: Vaughan, 4 days on-site

Our client provides turnkey submetering and utility expense management services to property managers, building owners and developers across Canada. The organization is unique in its ability to provide energy consumption transparency and accountability to its customers.

This opportunity is a unique position which is more focused on sales support VS a traditional BD role where you would be making 100s of cold calls a day.

The primary focus of this role is to assist Major Account Executives by managing leads, maintaining client databases meticulously, and coordinating various sales-related functions in markets such as developers, property owners, property management companies, and condo corporations in both multi-residential and commercial sectors. As a Business Development Representative, you will closely collaborate with Major Account Executives to research, prospect, and secure qualified opportunities that drive the sales pipeline.

Compensation

  • $50k base salary + $20k in guaranteed first year commissions.
  • Guaranteed first year income of $70k.
  • Comprehensive benefits
  • 3 weeks vacation to start

About You

  • 1-2 years inside sales experience
  • Experience in qualifying prospects, using CRM software
  • Business Administration Certificate or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated history of achieving KPIs in past positions
  • Strong problem solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • A motivated, driven and self-starting attitude
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
