The Vice President of Operations collaborates closely with other teams to ensure an integrated approach to operations management, contributing significantly to the company's growth and profitability. The Vice President of Operations leads and optimizes all operational functions, including retail operations, merchandising, category management, marketing, e-commerce, loyalty, real estate and distribution. Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

Create the business unit strategic plan focused on attracting and retaining top talent, agility to delivering on local customer delight, while leveraging the company’s scale through initiatives such as cost optimization, reducing lead times, and improving quality and reliability of service.

Develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with the company's business objectives as example: market share, sales, margin, weeks on hands and other key performance indicators.

Anticipate market trends and industry changes to adjust the operational strategy proactively.

Operations Management

Oversee all operational activities including store operations, merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, real estate and distribution.

Ensure alignment of the brand's operations with the overall business strategy, fostering a cohesive and integrated approach across all functional areas.

Ensure regulatory compliance in all operational and distribution activities.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality across all operations.

Leadership and Team Management

Qualifications and Professional Experience

University degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

At least 10 years of professional experience in senior operational roles with progressive responsibility in complex and fast-paced environments.

You've managed the operations of multiple store locations (30+)

A professional certification in operations management would be an asset.

Proven experience in developing and implementing successful operational strategies.

Knowledge

Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.

Fluent in English, written and spoken. Having proficiency in French is an asset.
