Position Information:

Essential Functions:

  1. Drive operational and strategic business opportunities to drive opportunities to Bid/No Bid.
  2. Establish and maintain customer relationship management initiatives to enhance customer engagement and attain optimum probability of win (Pwin).
  3. Develop and manage a segmented pipeline valued at >$200M.
  4. Develop Go-to-market and customer engagement strategies designed to achieve annual revenue targets set by leadership.
  5. Support strategic captures ($50M+ or as assigned).
  6. Assist Capture during early shaping, Blue Team, and customer engagement.
  7. Identify and analyze market trends and opportunities for business growth.
  8. Develop and present Gate review artifacts to company executives for approval.
  9. Manage, track, and oversee actionable business development key performance indicators (KPI) (Deal Flow, Pipeline Aging, Opportunity Velocity, Qualification Rate, etc.) to support pipeline health.
  10. Must have the ability to target, pursue, and qualify winnable opportunities >$25M.
  11. Collaborate with senior executives, portfolio/program management, and capture lead(s) to develop customer-focused, responsive, winning proposals.

Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. 10+ years of BD experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

Desired Knowledge/Skills:

  1. Strong experience, networking, and engagement in Federal Civilian agencies and Department of Defense branches is preferred.
  2. Deep experience and demonstrated success leveraging Navy SeaPort-NxG, GSA OASIS+, and GSA STARS III contract vehicles into existing customer space is essential.
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead matrix multi-disciplined teams to drive revenue growth.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate tasks and objectives to varying audiences.
  5. Ability to multi-task and manage time to meet deadlines.
  6. Experience with the government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC) task order process is preferred.
  7. Experience with joint venture (JV) arrangements is preferred.
