As a result of growth, expansion, and increased construction activity across Canada, they are actively seeking an experienced Technical Sales and Equipment Specialist with strong rental/sales experience in the construction industry to join their West Coast team.
They have positioned themselves to rapidly increase the number of their assets to meet the high demand of confirmed projects they have been awarded in Canada, and in turn, require expansion within their successful sales team. This role will see the new hire approaching the buoyant British Columbia market with a solutions-based sales approach, focusing on and targeting the Construction, Utilities, Engineering, and Industrial sectors in order to meet product category-specific targets. 5+ years of B2B sales experience and existing relationships within the construction/building materials/rental industry.
~ Previous experience working within the construction equipment, cranes, and hoists is preferred.
~2+ year of project management experience an asset.
~ Ability to build, maintain, and manage customer relationships including but not limited to major construction companies.
~ Excellent time management with sound administrative skills.
~ 4 weeks of paid time off, $15k/year car allowance, 6% RRSP, business expenses, cellphone, laptop.
