The Water Security Agency is seeking a Director, Project Advancement to join the Compliance Promotion team.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Compliance Promotion, this employee oversees the organization, direction, and management of a group of professional and technical staff responsible for advancing and supporting the strategic direction, development and delivery of the Outcome-based Regulatory Compliance Project.
This role will support identification of program improvement objectives outside of the project scope within the areas of Drinking Water, Wastewater, Aquatic
Habitat and Water Rights Licensing inspection and compliance programs. This involves a significant collaboration with other WSA units, clients, and other key stakeholders to support strategic objectives as required or proposed.
You will also be responsible to…
- Lead strategic and operational direction for program advancement as required to ensure alignment with government and organizational direction.
- Manage participation and engagement of team members supporting project direction.
- Provide oversight, facilitation, interpretation and dissemination of information on the strategic program direction, program progress, policy development and key research findings.
- Direct all phases of the policy cycle to develop public, organizational, operational policies, procedures and tools in support of the project.
- Provide guidance on regulatory and technical components of the project while establishing, administering, and developing operational elements
of the project.
The candidate will have a Degree in Public Administration, Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Natural Resources Management, Regional Planning, or similar discipline and 10 years of progressively more responsible experience.
