Shift:  Monday to Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The TransX Group of Companies has an exciting opportunity for an OS&D Coordinator to join the Operations department in our Calgary facility, reporting to the Dock Manager.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspecting shipments to validate claims
  • Working with claimants to assess and recreate scenarios to assess liability
  • Addressing overage, shortage, and damage issues
  • Researching claims, analyzing root causes, and determining solutions, and communicating findings
  • Locating overages, shortages, and damaged freight
  • Handling many different types of freight; including Hazmat Materials
  • Maintaining a clean and organized OS&D area
  • Preparing all paperwork and the repackaging on all OS&D freight
  • Researching and resolving OS&D freight issues
  • Maintaining accurate records for reporting all OS&D freight on a daily/weekly basis to service center management
  • Assisting with answering phones, providing quality customer service, and resolving customer concerns efficiently

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Education

  • High School Diploma – Preferred

Experience

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Previous OS&D experience in the transportation industry preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Enjoy working under pressure in a demanding and time-sensitive work environment
  • High tolerance for ambiguity
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English
  • Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills
  • Positive work attitude
