RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design track and railway infrastructure in accordance with applicable regulations, laws and standards including CN and CP industrial track standards
  • Participate in the design and construction of projects
  • Preparing grading models up to various client and internal standards
  • Preparing earthwork and other necessary civil drawings as needed for clients and internal projects
  • Preparing documentation for design folders and reports
  • Performing and documenting quality control checks in accordance with Tri Innovations' Quality Management Policy

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience on civil earthworks projects
  • 10+ years of experience in design of track and railway infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D is a must-have
  • Certified in track inspection would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of AREMA Standards
  • Registration with ASET would be considered beneficial
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills and proven ability to complete project deliverables (drawings, specifications, various project tasks) on time and budget
