The ideal candidate will have cultural sensitivity, particularly in working with economically disadvantaged communities, and will foster a collaborative, positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify funding priorities and manage the development plan.
  • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of donors for annual, major, and planned giving.
  • Lead and support fundraising initiatives, including events and donor cultivation efforts.
  • Oversee donor database management and reconciliation with accounting.
  • Manage marketing and social media efforts related to fundraising.
  • Act as a liaison to the Board’s Fund Development Committee.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, or related field; CFRE preferred.
  • 3-5 years of successful frontline fundraising experience.
  • Proven ability to cultivate major gifts and work collaboratively with boards.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a faith-based nonprofit environment is a plus.
