Compensation

  • Base: 55,000 CAD - 60,000 CAD / Annual
  • Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of 68,750 CAD - 90,000 CAD.

Position Overview

At Foundation Building Materials, LLC (FBM), we are dedicated to driving digital transformation and innovation within the building materials industry. Our goal is to provide exceptional service and cutting-edge digital solutions to our customers. We are currently seeking a driven Digital Specialist to help us achieve our mission. The primary focus of this position is to increase adoption of FBM’s digital Product (MyFBM) with FBM Canadian Team Members and Customers and to increase digital sales in Canada. This full-time position will serve all branch locations throughout Canada and can be based out of any of our Canada locations.

Key Responsibilities

MyFBM Launch and Adoption

  • Drive sales through MyFBM CAN, by:
  • Enabling FBM Canada’s Sales Team to confidently promote MyFBM
  • Helping to promote MyFBM to customers
  • Helping to onboard FBM customers into MyFBM
  • Creating training presentations, documents, and/or videos on and related to MyFBM
  • Leading in-branch and on-jobsite demos/onboardings
  • Monitoring and reporting on regional sales and adoption trends
  • Scheduling and executing in-market customer meetings
  • Facilitating monthly meetings with Regional VPs, District Managers to monitor progress towards goals

Product Operations

  • Act as the primary Point of Contact between the MyFBM team and the branches, ensuring new website features/updates are communicated to stakeholders and they are effectively trained on such updates
  • Assist with digital merchandising and digital product enhancements
  • Conduct voice of customers surveys and compile feedback to inform the digital product team for new enhancements, improvements and future roadmap
  • Perform as Primary Educator for MyFBM and digital connectivity within the assigned region(s)
  • Customer Support: Ensure regional branches deliver a top-tier MyFBM customer experience, proactively addressing and promptly resolving any MyFBM customer service concerns and inquiries
  • Customer Support: Train and develop branch staff in maintaining prompt responses and ensuring adherence to FBM’s customer service policies
  • Participate in MyFBM CAN and related Canadian user acceptance testing (UAT)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, communication or related field
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Team Player who is comfortable engaging and collaborating with employees, customers, and leadership teams
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Technology adopter, change agent mentality
  • Creative thinker, problem solver, self-starter
  • Sales knowledge, understanding of customer habits
  • Fluency in branch operations
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM)
  • Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP)
