Le candidat idéal sera basé à Montréal, travaillant dans un cadre hybride combinant travail à distance et présence au bureau à notre emplacement à Saint-Laurent.

Vos Responsabilités :

Rapport Financier :

  • Préparation et révision des états financiers, y compris les comptes de résultat et les bilans pour chaque division.
  • Assurer que toutes les informations financières sont exactes, cohérentes et conformes aux principes comptables et aux réglementations en vigueur.
  • Participation à la réalisation des audits et aux exigences de conformité. Participer à la transition vers les IFRS.

Clôture Mensuelle :

  • Effectuer les tâches pour la clôture mensuelle des comptes, telles que les réconciliations des GL, la saisie des écritures comptables, l'analyse du compte de résultat, la révision des rapprochements bancaires, l'amélioration des processus et la documentation des procédures financières.

Analyse Financière :

  • L'Analyste Financier Senior réalise des analyses financières approfondies, comparant les performances réelles aux chiffres budgétisés et fournissant des analyses de variances.
  • Identifier les tendances financières, les opportunités et les risques potentiels, permettant à la direction de prendre des décisions éclairées pour améliorer la performance des divisions.

Budgétisation et Prévisions :

  • Développer et maintenir le processus de budgétisation annuel, y compris les revenus, les dépenses et les dépenses en capital.
  • Collaborer avec les responsables de département pour recueillir les données et hypothèses pertinentes. Mettre à jour régulièrement les prévisions en fonction des performances réelles et des tendances du marché.

Ce Que Vous Apportez :

  • Au moins un diplôme de licence en comptabilité ou en finance, CPA préféré Maîtrise, à l'écrit comme à l'oral, de la langue anglaise est essentielle
  • Connaissance des principes comptables (GAAP/IFRS)
  • 3-4 ans d'expérience dans un rôle en comptabilité/finance (expérience dans un Big 4 préféré)
  • Capacité à prospérer dans un environnement dynamique et rapide et à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément

Senior Financial Analyst – Hybrid – Montreal

We’re currently hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team in Montreal

The ideal candidate will be based in Montreal, working in a hybrid setting that combines remote work and in-office presence at our location in Saint-Laurent.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Financial Reporting:

  • Preparation and review of the financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets for each division.
  • Ensure that all financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
  • Participation in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements. Participate in the IFRS transition.

Monthly Close:

  • Perform tasks for the monthly account closing, such as GL reconciliations, journal entry booking, analysis of the profit and loss statement, review of bank reconciliations, process improvements, and documentation of financial procedures.

Financial Analysis:

  • The Senior Financial Analyst conducts in-depth financial analysis, comparing actual performance against budgeted figures and providing variance analysis.
  • Identify financial trends, opportunities, and potential risks, enabling management to make informed decisions to improve divisional performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain the annual budgeting process, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant data and assumptions.
  • Regularly update forecasts based on actual performance and market trends.

What You Bring:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
  • Proficiency, both written and verbal, in the English language is essential
  • Knowledge of the accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
  • 3-4 years of experience in an accounting/finance role (experience in a Big 4 preferred)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
