Working with site VP's / Directors to provide expert knowledge of international mining standards across the site.You will lead a large team across medical, mine rescue, emergency response, training, risk, hygiene. A key part of the position will be developing and implementing strategy, fire systems, programs in order to continually improve performance in the department.Key Focus:Work alongside site VP's and DirectorsLead site Emergency Response functionsComplex Safety and Fire systemsLead OHS meetingsER equipment maintenanceCoaching & developing local workforceLead and set standards for safety & health teamSupport senior operational team across the siteEmergency response and mine rescueContractor managementCore competences / Must Haves:Bachelor's degree in OHSMining safety & health leadership experienceEmergency management & mine rescueExpatriate experience in Africa, PNG, Asia, South America, PacificUnderground miningStrong coaching abilityAbility to lead with authority in challenging jurisdictions globally
