ABOUT US

Aiello Immigration Law is seeking to hire an Immigration Legal Assistant at our office located in the heart of Old Montreal. We are a well established boutique immigration law firm specializing in a wide range of complex Canadian temporary and permanent residence applications.


Permanent position in Montreal, Quebec (remote or hybrid home/office work possible)


Full-time


$23- $26 per hour


Main functions

The duties and responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Preparing various immigration files, including filling out forms, requesting and gathering required documents;
  • Research and following up with clients and government authorities;
  • Analyzing complex documents and providing opinions;
  • Writing legal correspondence and drafting detailed submission letters;
  • Meeting with clients and providing excellent customer service;
  • Performing other general office work as required.


Requirements


  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in the immigration field;
  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field required (Bachelor's degree an asset);
  • Fluent in French and English (oral and written). Additional language is an asset;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively;
  • Excellent organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Reliable, responsible, and motivated to succeed in your role

Aiello Immigration Law cherche a embaucher un(e) Assistanr en Immigration a notre bureau situe au cur du Vieux-Montreal. Nous sommes un cabinet specialise dans l'immigration et nous nous occupons d'un large eventail de demandes complexes de residence temporaire et permanente au Canada.

Fonctions principales


Les taches et responsabilites de ce poste sont les suivantes :

Preparer divers dossiers d'immigration, y compris remplir des formulaires, demander et rassembler les documents requis ;

Recherche et suivi aupres des clients et des autorites gouvernementales ;

L'analyse de documents complexes et la formulation d'avis ;

Rediger de la correspondance juridique et des lettres de soumission detaillees ;

Rencontrer les clients et fournir un excellent service a la clientele ;

Effectuer d'autres travaux de bureau generaux selon les besoins.

Exigences

Au moins un an d'experience professionnelle dans le domaine de l'immigration ;

Diplome d'etudes postsecondaires dans un domaine connexe requis (un baccalaureat serait un atout) ;

Maitrise du francais et de l'anglais (oral et ecrit). Une autre langue est un atout ;

Grand souci du detail ;

Capacite a etablir des priorites de maniere efficace ;

Excellent sens de l'organisation et capacite a travailler dans un environnement en constante evolution ;

Capacite a effectuer plusieurs taches a la fois et a travailler sous pression ;

Excellentes competences interpersonnelles ;

Fiabilite, sens des responsabilites et motivation pour reussir dans son role.
