Hays Property Team is recruiting for a Senior Lease Administrator, based in at an office in North York,Your new roleYou will be working with an Ontario based owner and operator specializing in retail and commercial buildings across the province. Your role as the Senior Lease Administrator will be to assist and process with all leasing across the portfolio owned by the business. In total there are around 20 differing properties and around 300 tenants within the portfolio. The expectation of the Senior Lease Administrator is to prepare all commercial leases, dealing directly with tenants, tracking all leasing documents, expiry dates and providing recommendations on rates and renewals. You will also work with all month end transactions and legal fees associated with the leasing aspect of the business. Whilst there are 300 different tenants, a majority are on long term leases and won't require as much detailed attention. Role is in office 5 days a week, in North York/Don Mills area.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed as the Senior Lease Administrator you will have 10+ years of experience in a similar environment in a commercial portfolio. You will carry a high level of leasing knowledge and a huge asset would be experience working with large retailers. Experience working with leasing transactions and legal documents is a requirement.
