Role: Senior Privacy Analyst

Location: Remote: Fredericton City, NB - Canada (2-3 site visits)

Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of extension for same duration.

Must Have

  • A university degree in Law, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • A Certified Information Privacy Professional or Certified International Access and Privacy Professional designation, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Four (4) years' experience working directly with privacy legislation, such as the Right to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RTIPPA), including experience understanding, analysing, and interpreting privacy legislation.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience conducting privacy impact assessments, and a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English.

Scored Requirements

  • 4 Years of demonstrated experience working directly with privacy legislation, such as the Right to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RTIPPA), including experience understanding, analyzing, and interpreting privacy legislation.

The successful candidate must deliver the following in order to successfully complete the engagement:

  • Develop and deliver a personal information inventory for FTB.
  • Create a step-by-step operational guide on how to create and maintain the personal information inventory as part of a privacy management program, which could be shared with other departments/public bodies.
  • Create a privacy risk register for FTB. Similarly, create a step-by-step operational guide on how to create and maintain a privacy risk register, which could be shared with other departments/public bodies.
  • Create a privacy impact assessment training module based on FTB's PIA guide and template
