Job Duties

  • The Team Lead Health Consultant is responsible for retail sales and is focused on maximizing sales in the organization. Assist the store manager in ensuring that the functions and operations of the store are run in a proper fashion.
  • Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff.
  • Make sure all customer complaints are addressed and handled professionally, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
  • Build team commitment to high standards of service, exceeding customer expectations and leading by example.
  • Creatively address merchandise displays in windows, showcases, and on the sales floor to attract attention and promote sales.
  • Conduct one-on-one and/or small group training presentations for Sales Associates on product knowledge, store activities, and established policies and procedures.
  • Accurately monitor inventories and the flow of merchandise.
  • Use selling techniques such as add-on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals; use these techniques to train other employees.
  • Support store operational activities including processing transactions, product ticketing, shipping/receiving, product flow, floor change-outs, sales/markdowns, and store upkeep.
  • Lead with high energy, positivity and represent Healthy Planet Store with pride.
  • Work in collaboration with Store Management to help develop a team through our core values and cultural platforms.
  • Motivate and inspire Team Members to exceed daily/monthly/quarterly sales goals.
  • Contribute to crushing team goals
  • Collaborate with Store Management to provide coaching and constructive feedback to Team Members.
  • Ensure all store operations are completed effectively and efficiently, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure store is visually beautiful, clean and well-stocked.
Requirements & Must Haves

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Minimum 3 years experience for a team lead and 5 years experience for supervisors; with a background in retail and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience leading & motivating retail teams and proven track record of exceptional customer service strongly preferred.
  • An eye for merchandising design and desire to take risks to showcase product in creative, innovative ways.
  • Driven to deliver superior service by exceeding customer expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Able to work well as a team player in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
  • Proven ability to plan, set and achieve goals.
  • Be a self-starter and use good judgment in all situations.
  • Excellent verbal, written English and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings to meet the needs of the business.
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office software packages and email.
  • Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to enforce new sales operations, techniques, policies, and strategies.
  • Ability to train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Some knowledge of cost analysis and budgets.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • A passion and enthusiasm for natural wellness.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ retail or customer service management experience (Keyholder at minimum).
  • Intrapreneurial spirit and sharp business acumen.
  • Experience leading high-performance teams.
  • Track record for awesome sales and goal-crushing KPIs.
  • Self-directed learner with a commitment to ongoing personal growth.
  • Experience in visual merchandising and maintaining high store standards.
