Nationex is looking for a skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor for the position of Operations Supervisor.

The tasks you will accomplish:

  • Comply with health and safety rules at all times and wear the required protective equipment.
  • Perform regular floor rounds on a daily basis during your shift.
  • Manage the sorting and performance of the operations for which you are responsible.
  • Respond to the various requests of sorters and direct them to the right stakeholders.
  • Receive drivers, confirm loads and unloads with dispatch and supervisor, and report any discrepancies to the responsible valet.
  • Validate and confirm data at the computer system level.
  • Take charge of the management of damaged packages and send them to the parcel breakage sorter with breakage reports.
  • Collect, complete, and send reports requested by the various departments of the company.
  • Ensure the integrity and safety of workplaces at all times.
  • Actively participate in team meetings.
  • Respect the integrity of the company's assets and work tools.
  • Work as a team with the common goal of delivering all packages received within 24 hours.
  • Apply the necessary measures to ensure compliance with all the rules and policies issued by the company.
  • Adopt courteous behavior to maintain harmonious working relationships with all Nationex employees, customers, and partners.
  • Supervise the seasonal tire sorting team.
  • Manage employee schedules.

If you have the following qualifications, we want you on our team:

  • College or university degree in operations or supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of the legislation in force in the transport industry.
