We have an interesting opportunity for an ambitious Sales Associate who can hit the ground running and start bringing value to our team immediately. If you’re looking for the right environment to become an expert in cryptocurrencies and digital assets, you’ll find a fit at Secure Digital Markets. You'll be reporting to the Director of Sales and Trading, and will be responsible for the sourcing, management, and closing of clients as well as the day to day business operations of the sales team.

This role would be ideally suited for a client-focused individual who is able to work independently, set priorities and efficiently manage day to day processes with a high degree of detail, accuracy, and organization. 

Responsibilities & Expectations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, Close, and Manage clients on behalf of the trading desk and lending departments
  • Support the sales team's efforts to ensure proper outreach, while upholding SDM’s  professional brand identities
  • Create and monitor targeted outreach and lead nurturing campaigns 
  • Upsell existing clients on other services and products offered by the firm
  • Provide proactive market insight to counter-parties; attend industry events
  • Work directly with traders and cryptocurrency researchers to gain market knowledge, insight and expertise
  • Coordinate communication and education sessions to employees and/or managers for plans and programs related to brokerage and lending sales
  • Develop outreach programs for new and existing funds
  • Optimize existing pricing models to streamline the closing process
  • Analyze buyer personas, and manage the creation of new sales material per buyer persona
  • Update existing Sales Material and any other resources required to help your sales team
  • Share efficient prospecting processes by leveraging tools and company assets
  • Maintain and develop loyalty with existing partners and clients
  • Close new business regularly

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, finance, or crypto are an asset
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced knowledge and competency with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge and experience in using a CRM such as Hubspot
  • Ability to source, inform, close and manage large client accounts
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and deliver projects on time
  • Highly skilled in learning on the job and continuously learning
