Quelles seront mes fonctions dans ce poste?

Vous devrez :

  • fournir des conseils en ingénierie visant à préserver le bien-être des corridors commerciaux économiques à l'échelle de la région du grand Toronto;
  • planifier, gérer et réaliser des projets de ponts visant à renforcer les liens avec les communautés;
  • réaliser des projets internes de conception de nouveaux ponts et de réhabilitation des ponts existants;
  • assurer la supervision technique des ingénieurs, des techniciens et des dessinateurs en structure;
  • mettre à profit votre leadership et vos connaissances techniques pour proposer des solutions innovatrices, qui assurent un investissement judicieux de l'argent des contribuables.

Remarque : Ce poste nécessite des déplacements dans l'ensemble de l'Ontario.

À quelles exigences dois-je répondre?Exigences obligatoires
  • Détenir un diplôme d'ingénieur et avoir obtenu l'agrément de l'Ordre des ingénieurs de l'Ontario.
  • Être titulaire d'un permis de conduire valide de catégorie G ou d'un permis équivalent. L'offre d'emploi est conditionnelle. La personne retenue doit fournir la preuve de son permis de conduire valide au moment de son embauche.
Compétences techniques
  • Connaissance approfondie et vaste expérience de l'ingénierie des structures et des pratiques relatives à la conception, à l'évaluation, à l'inspection et à l'entretien des ponts, des ponceaux et d'autres infrastructures de transport.
  • Expérience de la conception préliminaire et finale de nouveaux ponts courants ou complexes, ainsi que de la réhabilitation d'infrastructures existantes, y compris la coordination de la production de tous les documents contractuels et dessins joints aux contrats.
  • Connaissance du Code canadien sur le calcul des ponts routiers.
  • Connaissance manifeste des études hydrologiques, de la conception des routes, des sols, des fondations et des pratiques de construction.
Gestion de projets
  • Compétences en gestion de projets vous permettant de gérer plusieurs projets simultanés de grande envergure et d'une grande complexité, ainsi que d'établir une estimation des ressources et un calendrier afin de garantir le respect des objectifs et des échéances.
  • Connaissance de la gestion d'achats et de contrats afin d'élaborer et de gérer des plans de projets intégrés, de planifier et de déterminer les ressources, ainsi que de fournir des avis et des conseils en matière de planification et de gestion de projets.
Aptitude à communiquer et habiletés interpersonnelles
  • Aptitude à communiquer et habiletés interpersonnelles vous permettant de siéger à des comités internes et externes, d'assurer la liaison et de négocier avec le personnel et les gestionnaires régionaux et opérationnels, les consultants, les entrepreneurs, les autorités, les municipalités et le grand public.
  • Compétences en communication écrite vous permettant d'élaborer des présentations, ainsi que de rédiger des notes d'information et des lettres ministérielles, au besoin, afin de fournir des renseignements et des directives.
Compétences en leadership
  • Compétences en leadership et discernement vous permettant de diriger des projets de grande envergure et d'une grande complexité, de diriger les équipes de projet qui vous sont affectées, de présenter des analyses financières, de superviser le travail des consultants et de fournir des conseils à toutes les étapes du projet.
