Senior Application Engineer, Automotive SoC Marketing

Job Description
The person in this role will have a key role of supporting and encouraging Renesas’ ecosystem partners to provide a wide range of solutions using our fast growing line of SOC for automotive applications timely. An ideal candidate would have a clear understanding of overall embedded automotive systems as well as fundamental elements consisting automotive SOC solutions to turbo charge the growth in automotive arenas such as (but not limited to) the zonal, ADAS, infotainment and automotive compute sectors.
The successful candidate must have strong self-motivation and sense of initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a truly global environment across various functional organizations such as Application Engineering, Hardware and Software Development, Product Marketing, and Sales. He/she must contribute actively to the transformational changes that bring the best out of a multicultural workforce.
- Manage queries from Renesas automotive SOC ecosystem partners, confirming progress and providing solutions utilizing his/her own knowledge and expertise as well as communication with internal stakeholders. It includes improvements to benefit partners as well as Renesas teams.
- Support collaborative activities with partners in various aspects, such as communication with partners, provision of Renesas initiatives and progress information, shipment of Renesas SOC platform hardware to help partner solution development and promotion, report of user interest analysis on website, etc.
- Support introduction and promotion of the ecosystem partners and solutions to internal teams such as Sales, Product Marketing, Application Engineering, etc. to leverage partner engagements in Renesas’ promotion and customer project proceedings.

Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in embedded SOC business and relevant technologies.
- Knowledge and experience in business topics such as confidentiality and trade compliance.
- Has a hands-on mentality to drive different topics pro-actively.

Company Description
The automotive High Performance Compute (HPC) team is seeking an application engineer to engage in ecosystem partner support activities and contributing enablement of partner engagements to provide solutions and technical services as a key part of Renesas automotive SOC business. In connections with customers and key partners in automotive industry, the position is an excellent opportunity to drive extensively global Renesas SOC promotion and customer project enforcements. The activities include extensive collaboration with various global teams including SOC design, software development and product marketing to establish undisputed leadership in the automotive market with Renesas’ SoC solutions in the fast-growing world of automotive cockpit, ADAS/AD, and Software-Defined-Vehicle (SDV). This high-impact role will enable a successful candidate to deliver value by accelerating the deployment of a variety of partners’ specialties and expertise on top of Renesas SOCs fulfilling many aspects of customer needs and contribute to transforming the future of mobility.
