We are working with a growing company in the Ottawa region who is looking for a Branch Manager to join their team Reporting directly to the Vice-President, Managing Director, the Branch Manager would be responsible for the day to day operations of one of the key locations in Ottawa.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee day to day operations
  2. Manage time and attendance, vacation, sick days of staff
  3. Resolve problem situations with customers and employees
  4. Ensure that all personnel comply with safety standards and local regulations
  5. Manage and control expenses within established budget
  6. Coordinate training activities for branch employees
  7. Supervise, onboard, and evaluate internal branch staff
  8. Ensure orders are delivered on time and maintained in the computer system
  9. Ensure building maintenance (supervise employees' work, mandate and coordinate maintenance contracts with suppliers and contractors)

Qualifications
  1. 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
  2. Experience in HVAC or Electrical
  3. Bilingual French/English (a huge asset to the selection process)
  4. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
  5. Bachelor's degree in business management or business management training
  6. Strong management skills
